As terryd stated, forex. I've personally never tried forex because I just didn't like the look of the keywords, but I know a few who are really successful in that niche. Try WoW. The keywords I've seen are relatively unused...
Forex niche has the maximum refund rate so i will not advice you to go for that. If you have spare time chose seasonal products.. which will convert the best and you will have some cash in your bank. e.g. holidays - game niche is hot. do some research, find what you can write better and go for it. best luck!
Well for obvious reasons I'm hoping that the diet niche picks up after Christmas and it seems like it will. January is the month of "new years resolutions" and weight loss will be on many people's lists. I'm working on banners specifically aimed at the new years resolution theme (they'll be available to affiliates of course.) Last year I noticed a whole bunch of ipod download sales on christmas and the day after christmas (new iPod owners searching for free music I guess) but ... things are different now. Oh yes.
Forex the best topic to write about? Are you mad? That's one of the most competitive niches, even for Bum Marketing. You will be jumping around the room, if you manage to find any decent long-tails, because most are either crap or too competitive for BUM.... Try to find some micro niches.

Look for the niche yourself. it's not that hard. Why do Clickbank when there are better stuff to promote like CPA offers?
Clickbank kind of sucks. Their conversions are terribly unreliable. Notoriously so, thus I'd try something else. Also, do something other than forex. Just sayin.
The "get your ex back" market is THE market for article writing. TONS of traffic and a few high quality products. PM me for advice - I've got a product coming out in this niche in a few days time. -- Just rememered - The "get your ex back" market is the best for bumming because it's prime focus is on people who are first looking for information and then are sold something on the back of it. With forex, people are looking for "shortcuts", "systems" and "products". It's very hard to BUM market "products" because you need to provide informatino up front... which leaves you in a catch 22.
To some extent i have to agree with you,there are few quality products but there are tons of affiliates promoting these product.
I'd never do SEO for a niche like FOREX or Fatloss. It's damn time consuming, well if you'd like to invest time for money then it's ok. I prefer to invest money for money more. You can do well on PPC. The thing I like about FOREX products that they have high pay-outs. FOREX or Fatloss - These niches are so competitive that your could waste 6 months trying to optimize your landing page and get a few sales. One thing I do, is choose a micro-niche and milk profits from it. Writing is not enough, first you should choose your keywords correctly. I can bet most people that aren't earning, aren't researching. The competition eats you up instantly if you don't have the right weapons. Cheers
