Hotmail and an Apple

    Apologies if this has been covered before, or if this is a bit too tecchie, but I've just got myself a nice, lovely and new Mac.

    Problem is: I've got a hotmail account. Does anyone on this forum know how I can access my e-mails through 'mail'? :confused:

    With a premium account you can, but not with the free account. I use Gmail now, and use IMAP to connect. That works a lot easier.

    Sorry Mate, but in buying a mac you just made the worst mistake of your life. Windows Live should work in Safari but if not try Firefox. POP3 email is not compatible through iMail but it might work in Thunderbird. I know it works in Entourage as I set this up for my mum!

    try this... you must login in www,msn,com , and klik my msn ---> after that klik hotmail
