is this new space quota only for us-based users?

Thanks for the heads up! I almost forgot my MSN account because of the space limit that really sucks. :D Will be opening it soon. Thanks!

1000mb is all very well... BUT since you can only send/receive 10 or 20 mb in any one message then by the time you've used up your 1000mb most of the stuff you've got stored in there will be about 5 years old!

gb doesn't matter as much as the features (search, annoying ads etc).

Too bad hotmail dumps your account & e-mail every 90 day span you don't sign into it or whatever, i've had to re-activate 2 diff accounts multiple times. It's rediculous. That and 90% of the mail i get on hotmail is spam.

What about Lycos? I heard they give 3GB?

Does anybody use it? or is it a waste of time?

I was just nearing my 25 MB limit. I have another unlimited account, but hotmail is very easy-to-use, so I like it.

Very cool that they raised the limit, feels much better now. :D

Yeh, I noticed that when suddenly 'space left' substantial when previously I had only about 4% to go.
