HotImg - Has anyone got paid by them?

Hello Fellow Members,

I am wondering if anyone has been paid by HotImg yet?

I dropped them an email asking when next payments are going out but yet to get a reply out of them. I've put a bunch of money in promoting my images to get views so I'd like to be paid back for my effort..

Let me know.

well it's owned by the fileserve crew so they will pay

 

That is what I thought at first but all my pending requests from videobb were paid as usual but I've heard nothing back from them since I asked about payment but they responded quickly to every other matter..

Also, I searched forever and couldn't find a single person whom has received payment from them..

Now over $300 at stake not sure what to do.

Yes because the official one was deleted by DP mods.. If anything paying me would have supported them instead of proving they were a scam which I hoped they weren't since they were advertised on fileserve.. sigh

 

I can confirm this is a SCAM

I had over 400$ in my balance, and now they banned my account:



I just wanted to login, and I got "Account has been blocked due to abuse of HotIMG Terms and Conditions.

I did not cheat, nor did I have any material that was copyrighted in there, so don't use them!

you did obviously NOT read. I wrote that I did follow their TOS

 

You don't need to have any illegal images on your account to have it banned.. all I had was some works that I had created and shared them and highly advertised them..

 

hotIMG is officially a scam. What did you expect? It was advertised by fileserve - which is one the crappiest hoster on the web.

 

They are officially a scam, if anyone saw any of my original posts I requested 3 payouts totalling $300-400 and it's been longer than 2 weeks and they haven't paid, they still haven't changed the status. And after emailing their customer service they are now ignoring me and not responding, they told me before to wait and I will get paid, now they aren't even responding. There are many others in my position and I even had one person with their payment approved but no money has changed hands.

In short, AVOID AT ALL COSTS ITS A SCAM

Just because something is advertised on a legit company doesn't mean it's legit, anyone could do the exact same thing just by buying advertising space.

I wouldn't be surprised if zpag.es is a scam too, but they have official reps talking on various forums so we will wait and see with that.

 

Just seems for new companies keep payouts at $20-40 and stop sending traffic if they take too long.

I asked hotIMG why they didnt pay in time, and they answered me:

I've gone down that email road, it's long and pointless, my account isn't banned but they are incredibly reluctant to pay or give any believable reason to why they are taking so long to reply now and why they are takingso long to pay. Obviously a scam now and no payment proof has emerged anywhere.

 

It's always a good idea to find out from others who have been paid by an image host, before investing in them or in any affiliate network, can save you a lot of time and headache
