I got a respond from an admin (or a moderator) that the thread was removed because there are ppl who are advertizing themselfs by putting refferer links in there signatures.
vamp6x6x6x, I saw couple of payment proofs before that thread was deleted. So I guess, for now, they are paying.
Better to buy 1 premium at rapidshare or other file host from where you can Remote upload directly to hotfile... get all the stuff you can from others and post them at forums.
Hotfile is suck & I am seriously advice you that its now only the waste of time & efforts. Previously I was getting about 200-300 downloads per day & my account was platinum or Gold, but now, I am getting around 1000+ downloads & my account is just COPPER from the last 7-8days. Its not fair, The more you put effort the less you will earn. Regards
I agree with AznRico... I only upload files that are in demand and those that are rare and just try to promote them as much as I can (I post in 5 forums mainly)... When I started out, I was on silver and then uploaded most of my files and got degraded to copper... Then five days after jumped straight to Platinum so all of a sudden it all looked great and so I uploaded more... Got degraded initially to gold but now I'm in Platinum again cos I haven't uploaded anything in a while and more and downloads are slowly rising. But ofcourse, I'm not making as much as anybody here... In fact I only get about 50-60 payable downloads each day... But then again, I'm not working my ass off uploading stuff

Hi, It is good to see this thread and all the people bringing on the hotfile issues. I was a hotfile affiliate and for 3 weeks it was all good (earned about $80). They paid me every monday, no matter how much points my files got (reaching the $15, of course). But after they apply the Copper system, yes, for me it is Copper because I never got any other level, they started doing strange things. First, on a beautiful Friday (2 days left for the payout) I had $10 and they just remove all my points. I sent an e-mail asking what happened. The answer came on the next day... According to them all my downloads were from premium users. Apparently I kept getting downloads from premiums as I got $1.7 since they remove my points (12 hours), they decided to just close my account. The rank system came to control the peoples earnings, but as in some cases it isn't enough, they just close the account. Funny thing... I was getting too much downloads from premiums, which I thought would be good. But for them it is not. As premiums can download files with no limit and generate points to uploaders faster than a normal user, having a affiliate with too many premiums downloading his files is a bad thing. Closing the account seems to be the solution. For the guys who still a hotfile affiliate, keep asking the admin for a better stats. It is easy to say that you didn't reach the next level if hotfile does not tell you how many premiums you got. They don't even make their rank formula public. P.S.: I said "they", but I'm almost sure that this site is run by only one guy.
Guys, forget about HotFile at once. Move to other hosters that will pay you. I wasted 30 days promoting hotfile links. And for what? I just don't want to waste my time to even complain anymore about what hotfile is doing in last few weeks. You all know that. I reacted and made this topic as soon as they changed the rules, because it was more then clear what will happen. Stop 'crying' about hotifle and start using other hosters. Let them worry about themselfs, since hotfile will stop existing very soon (if they don't change the rules to honor the efforts of there uploaders). Or, continue making 1000 downloads in exchange for fckn $4 while all other hosters will pay you at least $1 more per 1000 downloads.
Previously I was making around $5-$8 per day & now just $2 or even less. I have left hotfile & looking for some other ways
Hotfile is dead to me. I will start to transfer my files to other file hosting. Does anyone know if storage.to really pays? The upload is not that great, but the download seems good and the leechers love it. I don't mind about the 90MB minimum size. I have small and big files to share.
Yea Webmaster......... I think, take a look at Letitbit & File-rack, letitbit really pays & I have received money from them several times.

letitbit may pay but only by webmoney if i remember. I tryed to sign up for web money didnt work out so well. File-rack doesnt accept porn, so right now I use midupload, and going to use storage.to as soon as the finish fixing their remote uploader.
