I think it can't only be your IP. Think about VPN-Users. Using different paypal email adresses and maybe even a different computer should work.

not trying to be rude, but it's odd seeing your posts in several threads already and they're generally only a couple words long and neither helpful.

Someone was also questioning why you brought back up an old thread. Are you just trying to get 10 posts done so you can put up a sig? ;)

Anyway, I have two HF accounts serving different forums and have had them for awhile. They don't seem to care, but at the same time I try not to upload heavily to the other account. Don't want to risk it too much since I read awhile back someone got their account closed for something similar to this. :)

Safest way is to use two different emails, paypal, and computers. If they ban you, you can always say your roommate/brother/neighbor is probably doing hotfile too.

Are your accounts connected (referal) or are they independent?

Oh independent of course! I thought of making several referals before but that's cheating the system (well.. their system) and I would assume I'd have been caught quickfast if I did that.

Aside from them deleting my recent files [since someone's been reporting them and ONLY the recently posted ones -_- (strange that they leave the other files alone)], they have not deleted my accounts yet nor sent any emails to me about violating their TOS.

I don't wanna OT this thread, but I hope people here with two HF accounts don't plan on opening double accounts on forums to 'bump' or increase exposure to your files.

Two adult forums I know of have banned HF and recently several warez forums have also banned it. Another forum was having complaints that certain popular files were purposely being reported by competing uploaders so they'd get removed. This resulted in the entire forum direct download section being removed by the mods.

So... let's play it safe guys and not give HF any more bad rep its been getting. Afterall they pay well.

    ^

i think remote upload is dependent on the speed over at the file host's side.

Want money to unban? Doesn't make sense imo, they could just easily submit their forum to HF and get 5% off every premium sales. I think it's more of just forum etiquette.

One forum I see that hasn't banned HF yet, this one poster spammed an entire section with all these threads. What's in each thread? A picture set. The poster could've just made a single thread containing all those picture sets but they chose to spam instead.

    Wouldn't work.
Links are usually coded so user needs to paste them.
