this may be a stupid question but i was wondering if it was possible to have two seperate hotfile accounts, with two different bank accounts (paypal) but using the same computer to upload the files

is this possible or would they be able to tell from the ip address?

    thanks

If they have a half decent fraud department and coorelation tools, you can easily detect the same computer without relying on the IP address. All computers have a GUID (unique identifier) that can be queried each time you log into the system, or simply view the cookies cookies, or Adobe Flash Shared Object Cookies. Thus no matter what IP address you have, they can tell it is the same computer. You would need to use a completely different computer and different IP address to do your access to the system.

The best will be to email and ask them, that's what the contact/ support is for. We are all just guessing here...

if your gonna do it, sign up one on your home - AND ONLY ACCESS AT HOME
and sign up one on your server - AND ONLY ACCESS ON YOUR SERVER

Ill assume you upload via a server as any1 that doesnt must have like 20mbit upload min. or like waiting for 10 hours

Yeah, uploading on a 100KB uplink is quite painful... just queue everything up for the day and then go to work..... ;-)

I actually find that uploading to RS is much much faster than HF... so normally I upload to RS and then remote transfer it to HF...

...but remote upload from RS to HF is also slow!

actually it varies during the day, sometimes it is 1MB/Sec, some times it is 10KB per/Sec, nice thing is just queue that up and let it go too...

hotfile is not allowing multiple accounts per user

    read their FAQ
    http://hotfile.com/faq.html
    Code (markup):

May I have multiple accounts on hotfile.com?
We don't allow multiple accounts for one user. If we found such an accounts they will be deleted.

It's against the rules but many people have 2 or more accounts linked to the SAME paypal without proxy or anything. It's still risky IMO to spend time on additional account that can lead to ban on all your accounts...

hmm just think if you do get caught, all those files uploaded are gone. Like that.

Anyways, you can try web services out there that remote upload your files to your [many] file hosts if you need to. Something like multiupload.com though it works on and off.

I think its possible if you have a ip hider, proxy switcher, or web shield to hide your ip, click it on and off each time you upload should work fine.
