Good afternoon! I am looking to start a new project, whilst I have a lot of time on my hands this summer. I have been looking at travel affiliate programmes (HotelsCombined being one of them and DoHop.com). I don't just want a generic theme of a website, I was looking at ThemeForrest and found a beautiful designed Wordpress theme, how would I go about integrating a DoHop widget there? I mean, is it easy to set up such functionality? I'm totally new to Wordpress really..
It's not terribly difficult for first-timers, just get yourself a good guide or FAQ. WordPress actually has a WordPress plugin directory which can be found here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/getsitecontrol/ ; All you're doing is installing the plugin via .zip, and then uploading it through Plugins on the WordPress dashboard. You will have to sign up for GetSiteControl, though, other than that your widget will be uploaded, and it'll be as easy as modifying and 'activating' it from there.
