Hotel Reservations and Google

I was wondering if anyone could help me out with a decision I am trying to make. I have a site that has been aroung for 1.5 years and does not do well in G because I think someone manually looked at the site, found some Hotel Reservation pages and now the whole site is filtered (PR and Indexed still). I read a post that G finds these pages offensive and spammy.

    The question is do I:
    1. Remove the Affiliate pages and send an email saying I am sorry
    2. Keep plugging away at Y! and MSN
    3. Start over (New Domain)
    4. dissallow Gbot for that folder and again hope it comes back

I have been building the brand for over a year and would hate to start over, but whatcha going to do!

    Don't start over.

Add value. The hotels you list are probably listed on another 100 reservation websites so your sites could be regarded spammy in that regard.

A way to fix it is to set yourself apart from the rest. By adding value.

Things like unique reviews, what's to do nearby, directions, weather feeds, write-up of the region, price comparisons, suggest nearby alternatives etc. There's loads that can be done to spice it up.

So I'd go for 5. Take a differnet approach but stick with what you have been building. Make each page more useful and totally unique.
