Curious, what sort things are you doing at the hotel during the off season that could be considered a draw?
As a hotel I would use YouTube to market the benefits of visiting your hotel, make videos that show the viewers the selling points that will make them want to go there. Viral video marketing can be a great tool for any hotel looking bring in more business, just a matter of coming up with them. Like Jeff asked, hat does your hotel offer during the off season? Do you have any special events, do you have a dining room/ballroom area? Do you have conference rooms, where is the hotel located? What area attractions are close by the hotel? Or is this just a hotel with rooms and nothing more to it?
The best thing you could do then would be contests. I would create a mailing list attached to your website and then for every confirmed email address, there is a chance to win something - like a few nights free stay in a luxury suite. You could even offer a few prizes. Then hit up the major contest forums and sites and promote your contest. At the same time, do a Google Adsense campaign for the contest/hotel. You would then get visibility about your services as well a build a nice mailing list that you can use for future promotion (just be sure to offer an opt out)
