Hotel Affiliates - Possible to 'compare prices'?

I am building a travel-related site for my local sector and one of the things I wanted to do was let my visitors book hotels. However, I want them to be able to do a "compare prices" between various hotel affiliates. Does anyone know if the hotel affiliates (lodging.com, ian, etc) let you have access to their database so you can do comparison shopping? For example, I want to have a link on my site that says "compare prices for this hotel" which would go through a listing of various affiliates and pick out the best rates.
Is this possible? Sorry my knowledgen in XML is not that great, so I thought I'd ask here first. Thanks.

I was interested in this as well. Does anyone know of any "stock" scripts out there for sale or do we need to have a custom script?

comparing prices would be against any contract with IAN as well as most other programs at this point

I don't see that would be a problem. The web is full of rate comparison sites. We'd certainly allow you to check ours. But if you're asking for a script that automatically checks a number of sites you're asking a lot. I'd like one myself. ;)
