HotBot not resolving (down or out?)

    Noticed that hotbot.com is down. Actually it isn't even being resolved by DNS.

    Is it just a DNS issue or is HotBot been decommissioned?

    Actually, Lycos.com is having the same issue. Could it be that their NameServer servers are down - as they have so much redundancy, a DOS attack on the Name Servers?

    There DNS is currently down. It is a shame to see they don't have any backup methods.

    Very odd about the DNS. Noticed the Lycos mail and the Canadian Lycos are down as well.

    UK Hotbot and Lycos are ok though.
