I'm sharing something that I built for myself to use. If you like it, great, feel free to use it/bookmark it/share it, whatever. :)

It's called the Hot Trends Research Tool and is found at http://hot-trends.noduplicatecontent.com

    What It Is

It takes Google's Hot Trends list and aggregates a bunch of info about each item. Google Hot Trends is a list of the top 100 searches done over the last few hours. It is a keyword list, essentially, of what is hot right now.

The Hot Trends Research Tool lists all of the recent keywords on the main page, and clicking on each keyword takes you to a page with the aggregated data. You'll find information like:

    - blog posts
    - forum threads
    - news items
    - youtube videos
    - Yahoo Answers questions
    - Google Insight data (like related keywords and the rate at which the keyword is rising in popularity)
    - and more

    How to Use It

    The general idea is:

    - pick a keyword that interests you
    - scan through the posts/forum threads/news/images, etc
    - write a quick summary of what the story is, and post it to a blog or write an article

This gives you keywords you KNOW are being searched, and gives you stuff to write about it, all in one place.

There's a 'How To Use This Site' page there as well with more specifics.

I hope you find it profitable!
