I just check your product's gravity and it shows 0. That means no affiliate has promoted your product yet? Can you show us some stats. If not, it will not be convinced enough.
They seem to show up in every thread now... Product looks good Ripped. It is definitely a profitable niche and a crowded niche. Hopefully you will carve out your slice of it. Best of luck.
I'm convinced that this is a profitable niche but a very crowded one too!!.......would love to get a piece via SEO but I can see it being very difficult...
Wishing you the best of luck Ripped The niche is crowded already guys but certainly there are tons of ways to get EASY traffic for this niche. Al.
Thanks for the kind wrods. You're right about the competition, there is a lot of competition, but once you tap into this market, you'll be set for a long-term profit. This niche is endless, it will never die. There's always room for more, the reason why this niche is saturated is because it is very profitable. I have not really announced this product, I just published it on Clickbank in order to test it myself,, hence the 0 gravity. I already posted a conversion screenshot: http://img651.imageshack.us/img651/2492/srcyahoo12.jpg . This is from my yahoo campaign, where the best adgroup produced a conversion rate of 1:17. Other adgroups have been also converting pretty well. This product has been thoroughly tested, and I can guarantee that it converts well.
Looks great. Yes there is much competition in this niche, but I think you will do just well. I wish you all the best with your new product.
If you're going to let other steal the traffic right from under your nose and leave some great cash on the table then it's your choice. That's where the cash is, in the most competitive niches. Al.
Just wanted to let you know that this is converting extremely well. I've never had anything that converted so consistently. I've created many products, but nothing was as consistent as this one conversion-wise. Here's a screenshot: Also, there has only been 1 refund so far, which proves that the product is of high quality, and that the customers are happy with it.
Are there any affiliates promoting? Can you show analytics screenshot for the entire time sites been live with conversion stats?
There's only one affiliate that sent some traffic and he made one sale. Other than that, there isn't anyone besides me promoting it. All the rest of the sales were made by me. There's nothing to see in the analytics because I'm sending the people directly to the site, without a hop.
So you got most of your sales through Yahoo PPC? Were your clicks expensive? I'm interested in starting a PPC campaign as an affiliate but I'm a little bit nervous. Yahoo seems safer for newbies to start a PPC campaign as apposed to using Google, what do you think?
I switched to Google since there's a larger volume of traffic and I stopped Yahoo. Traffic is not so cheap since there's competition, but there are still keywords that get decent traffic and don't have much competition so you can get cheap clicks. I went for higher traffic keywords, and I bid high, up to 0.70 per click. This is the strategy that I apply for most the campaigns I run. When you start bidding high, you build up a good history with Google, and if you have a good CTR and page that google likes, your quality score will go up, and you'll be able to lower your bids significantly. I'm now spending almost half of what I spent per click for the same keywords when I first started my campaign a couple of weeks ago, and am able to still maintain a good ad position. When you start, it is possible to be at a loss initally, but after a couple of weeks (or quicker), of tweaking and testing, you will optimize the campaign so that you can turn in a nice ROI. Bids can get pretty high when you start up since there's plenty of competition, but that shouldn't scare you. Remember, once you've created a successful campaign for this kind of product, you will be making continuous profit, meaning, I can see the same campaign running for years with the proper maintenance (or unless google decides to slap you), this niche is gonna live forever.
when you talk about tweaking do you mean you're tweaking your landing page... or your ad's-the ad position, and how you write your ads?
All of the above. That's what ppc is all about, tweaking, testing and optimizing. About the ads, I put up a bunch of ads, maybe 10 per ad group. All keywords are tightly group in relevant ad groups, and I make the ads highly relevant to each ad group. After I get a bit of traffic, I see which ads have the highest CTR and a good conversion rate, and keep those, and weed out the once that have a low CTR. You don't want anything with low CTR because google hates that, and your QS is going to suffer if you have a low CTR, and your bids will go up.
Good luck Ripped, you're doing pretty well with this product (it's one of the most profitable niches, and yeah seemingly it will never die) There's plenty of money to be made in this niche with content as well. I'm running campaign for my product on Yahoo at the moment that are turning quite a nice profit (Adwords has never been my thing) But I'll start tweaking a campaign soon.
