Carbon Motors has been making the rounds with a prototype of its all new cop car. They haven't stopped by where I live yet, but when they do I plan on checking out this car in person: http://thearticlewriter.com/autowriter/carbon-motors-police-cruiser-turns-heads/ Check out the rear hinged doors, embedded lights and the interior of this bad boy! Runs on diesel and can top out at 155 mph. Will be built in the US and probably sold all over the place eventually.
I thought it was a Renault for a second... Except for Europe, Asia, and the rest of the world I like the creepy 'no way out' rear door lining.
I could see the vehicle exported at some point, perhaps even licensed and built around the world. Given that so many police cruisers are sorry looking excuses for cop cars, there seems to be room for this cruiser elsewhere. Yes, the back compartment is interesting. I also like how it can be hosed down in the event that someone barfs or is buggy in the back!
Toxic, it does at that. With a turbo-diesel engine and six-speed automatic, it won't fit that qualification, then again I don't know of any true sports car with four doors on it!

The rear hinged doors are interesting, but as mentioned they aren't a new idea. Known as "suicide doors" this body style was used by Lincoln dating back to the 1960s.
I can't say much about that 'suicide door' car, but I'd love to see THIS ONE on the roads...It would just rule the roads, wouldn't it? Thieves will have a riot
^^ This one seems like a car from the game NFS Most Wanted..... See the screen behind, its running the game itself. So this might be a model made for this gaming kind of exibition... Where did you get this image ??
Refresher, that's a beautiful pursuit car! But it is also a tremendous waste of taxpayer's money so let's just hope that it doesn't catch on. ;-)
Carbon Motors may give you a free ride, but just in case that doesn't work out, make sure that you break the law in an area where police use this sedan. Then, you'll get a free ride straight to jail!
