It at no point said it was an auction. I only had a buy it now button as I wasn't interested in taking less than the asking price and certainly not at $2 over what I paid for the domain.

ah, a mistake by copy and paste - as you can see the software is set up to only allow buy it now options (never understand why people do bidding etc without using the software, easiest and fairest method imo) - and even with bidding I would set the reserve over double $10!. my sincere apologies for the confusion

 

When I search for the keyword you mentioned, it does not even come up in the first site!

I can understand your concern but at the same time

1) these sites are priced to sell, not big risk investments
2) your own knowledge of SEO should tell you the keywords are very target able etc
3) keyword sniping is a fairly well known concept on the internet

I don't mean these to sound patronising in anyway, I am confident most reading this have web knowledge exceeding my own, just want to explain some of my own thought processes.
