I've sent you PM regarding this Yes u can, and no sorry I don't provide SSL. I'd recomend getting from godaddy if you can afford it.
alright, here is the promised review. i cant make it overly complete as i still have some kinks to work out. First of, i would like to say to everyone whos domains are with eurodns ( I own a few .cn domains), the name servers at this time dont seam to be compatible (for me at least) they worked 100% with godaddy, and a few others, but eurodns gave me some bs error (which I am currently inquiring with their customer service)... speed: well, definitely not the fastest host around, upload speed grows slowly from 10kb/s to a for me peack at around 50 kb/s on a 42 mb file. download speed for me was also low, starting at about 50kb/s but climbed up to about 600kb/s averaging at about 420kb/s on the same 42 mb file. (on a T3 connection) got to mention, there is no dedicated ips, which for me is a pretty big downer. the cpanel is nice, for me there were some kinks with forwarding (which ill try to work out) this is the first host place where i got errors for setting up domains before the name servers were set to it. Overall, its not a bad host, especially if you don’t have any serious websites... for proxies i feel it might be too slow...and as more users join, (unless my server is already full) when more people come onto the server, it will only go slower. Pros: cheap Cons: no ticket service (that I found) Slow connection in my experiences.
That was a brilliant review, mate. I like the way and the style that you have written them in details. Now, I might probably consider this as a non-serious website, rather than hosting some revenue-generating sites on this server. Anyway, it saves costs, so it's a good thing.
This webhost is not allowed the proxy.Yesterday my proxy is blocked.I don't know why my proxy is blocked. Scoty pls clearify me the reason of suspending me.
Change of ToS, I wasn't aware proxies were no longer allowed. I'm going to refund those who were using this for proxy but don't have the money right now I should have it soon though, gonna see what I can do tomorrow 640GB, 2 x 320GB drives
I know open source, but so others know you can aslong as they're all legal, and you're not allowed to use 20% of the processor for more than 60 seconds, processor speed is 2.331 GHz As a warning, because torrents use lots of bandwidth I can't guarantee that the ToS won't change in the future like they did for proxies, as you can see in this thread. For now though, they're allowed PM'd you Sorry these aren't resellers Yes, still available Bulk file storage not allowed ToS can be viewed here http://www.hostvertigo.com/ToS.php
I know you stated that Proxies are not allowed. but are PHP Proxies allowed as they don't tend to take up that much CPU?
