Some Hosting Provider didn't know how to control hosting server, they get bad customer running heavy script on server and other people like you get problem. Following your ticket i think they try to suspend bad account but they do by hand (manual) it will take long time because it around 200 account on the same server.
Heard about the sale, sad to see what's happening. If you can take backups, take them and move on, could be your next best move. Or you can stay and give them another shot and see how far that takes you.
