Hostingpanama.com review and WARNING

    MODS: i looked i really did :p but if this is in the wrong section, my apologies and please move it at your convenience.

    I am writing a review because I am absolutely disgusted with the level of service, competency of the staff and tech support, and just absolutely flabberghasted that a company this incompetent is managing to stay in business.

    in the past 6 days on what should have been a simple shared hosting setup and domain registry, it turned into one living hell as i will document.

    I processed my payment for a domain registry and one year of basic hosting coming to 110$. I paid with WU because i don't have a credit card. I sent the details of the western union to the sales contact I was discussing details with and she replied that she had forwarded to billing. I was expecting there to be some lag between WU processing time, it was later in the day etc so i had no problem waiting until the next day... then nothing happened... so i said wtf and waited another day.. when i woke up and there was nothing done, i started emailing them... long story short, i find out that my sales contact had not forwarded the WU information to billing... so I had wasted 3 days because sales had not done what it wrote.

    so if that was the only error it wouldn't be so bad.. but lets talk about their network for a second... talk about slow! were talking load times from 15seconds to 45 seconds for a decently graphical site, maybe one big graphic, mostly text. and up time, in the past 5 days, we have experienced 3 FTP lockouts and 6 console lockouts due to 'server maintenance'. I rate thier network stability and connection speed a F for FUCKING SLOW.

    So i finally get access to my account only to find out that they use a god awful contraption of perpetual torture and eye and brain rape called PLESK.
    its such a pain in the ass to do anything we want, and it seems designed to make you want to gouge your eyes out with a melon baller. I rate thier control panel and server administration tools a F.

    so after a few days of torture setting up the site,cant you tell i hate plesk, were sitting around.. waiting for the dns to populate through the dns servers... only its been 6 days now.. and still not done.

    So i run a check on the domain, only to find out that there is something wrong with out domain on the registrar side. so i email their tech support giving them a copy paste of the error code on the test i ran, and basically a explanation of what the issue is and what needs to be corrected. and I get the response of a convoluted 15 steps of how to configure out dns settings on the shared hosting, which we already had setup fine, by their tech support. So we replied being like WTF its a registrar problem and wouldn't you know it, their tech support emailed me back and basically said the same thing right back to me. It seems that they forgot that they registered the domain and i got the response of "so go onto your registrar and change it"

    I am basically putting holes in my foundation of my house banging my head against it trying to wrap my head around the stupidity and lack of customer service that this company provides. I rate their tech support services and customer service a F.

    I rate my entire experience a F. I absolutely hate my experiance, dealing with their control panel, shitty connection speed, forgetfull and horrible customer service *oh i didn't mention, their tech and sales people all communicate in broken English* and constant errors on what should be standard and easy tasks for a web hosting company have probably aged me 10 years in the past 6 days.

    I really really recommend that everyone find a different hosting company then this company. and I hope that someone finds a way to bitch slap everyone in their entire company.
