Hey im with a hosting company in the UK which i wont name for now, basically ive spent £500 on a semi-dedicated linux hosting but i can say for sure that its nowhere near the power they say it is. My sites go down on a daily occurance sometimes for just 5 minutes other times their down until i notice them or someone phones me and tells me my sites are down.

Im getting damn sick of having to go on support everyday telling them the same thing to be told its all working fine now then next day sites down again. Its not even like my sites get any if many traffic at all their new sites.

What do you think i should do? im prob past the time where i can ask for a refund.

    Cheers

    $500 is for 1 years?
You should move away from the hosting company.
    What site you hosted there?

It's not hard at all to transfer websites. Sometimes there may be problems if the host you're switching to hasn't upgraded their software to the latest releases and the scripts you're running may not work properly. But that's an easy fix.

What control panel have you been using with your current host? You should be able to take a back up pretty easily depending on what you're using.

just WHM and Cpanel is what ive been using Coreypeerfly.

thats good to hear, i dont use any complicated scripts really and only have the 2 sites in my sig running just now. Ive wrote a pretty angry email to them and they've said they can change it to a new hub or something but they really are a poor host.

Hope you hav wasted your time so long .... You would hav better changed your hosting company before itself..... As the sites are much important for your business........ choose hosting company that provide you better service and quick response... It is better to hav website monitoring tool for your website...
I suggest you hioxindia.com for best hosting provider... They provide excellent service.... i've hosted my domain with them.... For website monitoring tool you can look in to 100pulse.com, this is a free website monitoring tool....
