Hi. Im about to buy some hosting for my site (currently work in progress). Ive never really used paid hosting before, so im not really confident in myself to choose a decent host. Ive heard too much about poor hosting (low quality customer service, alot of downtime etc.).

I dont need any state-of-the-art hosting. My site isnt going to be anything huge, so a basic plan should be sufficient. I dont want something that costs too much either. I was looking into the $10-15 /month range.

Is anyone able to direct me to some reliable services, or even a site with honset reviews of various hosts.

    Thanks alot,
    Dan.

I am in the middle of building a hosting site. In fact I host all my sites there and have no problems at all there. Soon, the site will be visible so anyone can start using it immediately.

There are three plans. $10 per month, $20 per month and $30 per month.

Even the $10 per month plan gets you just about anything you need whether it's PHP or ASP. It's just limited to capacity and bandwidth. However, there's plenty available.

If you want more info on these plans then give me hoy!

    Col :)

Thanks for the replies everyone. Unfortunatly, ive come across a problem in what i have of the site so far, so ive had to redo alot of it, which means i wont be able to purchase hosting for a while yet. I will keep you all in mind though.

    Thanks again,
    Dan.

    Ello Ello Danago.

If there is one thing I'd do over again it would be get a good host from the word go. Don't necessarily go for the cheapest, have a good look around. I'd also recommend probably buying a package bigger than you need, nothing is more annoying that growing out of each level of hosting each 2 -3 months and needing to upgrade to change host, it is a pain in the arse and it only hurts the growth of the site in the long run. So make sure that your host can handle the long term growth of your sites.
