Hosting Site from Home with Optimum Cable as Provider..unable to resolve site outside

so I used to host my site rom home with time warner as my cable provider(very small site, and my machine can handle the load. Of course if traffic increased I would pay into a hosting service.)

I moved and am attempting to re-deploy my site.
Its weird because I can resolve the site by just typing the domain name at my home machine. But from work/outside home network it does not resolve. Has anyone ever experienced something like this? I have a static IP from what I can tell btw.

    Hi there,

If you let me know the IP address I can have a look to see if the DNS records look ok.

If you've made recent DNS changes they can take 24-48 hours to propagate around the internet.

Sorry, I know I said IP address but it was the domain name I was after too.

It's certainly possible your ISP is blocking port 80 inbound - I know most of them block port 25 now.

Are you running any kind of firewall or broadband router or is the server that the website is on connected directly to the internet?
