This site takes in 67 thousand unique visitors per day average, and approximately 1.5 million visits per month w/ 4 million page views per month.

The site is around 5 months old, and has 6k customers. The site is a Free hosting site, where users can sign up for free hosting w/ no risk. The server got to the point that since the first server was full, I was going to have to get a second server, so I put banners up from yahoo, and to my surprise the site made over 800$ profit on the second day, and has been averageing 600$ per day since. I never expected this site to make so much money, and I really am not prepared to handle such a buisness, however this would be a great deal for someone out there. I am not the original owner / founder of this site.
The traffic is very stready, and comes from the customers posting on myspace and friendster to link there homepage. 38.4% of traffic is from bookmarks, .7% from search engines, and 60.7% is from the owners of the hosted websites posting links to there websites, etc. This is mostly myspace, friendster, blackplanet and tdotwire.

It is not very difficult to run the site (I can show the new owner exactly what to do) But it is less than 5 minutes maintenace a day, which you spend making sure nobody is abusing the system.

I set a reserver @ 100,000 USD Which is less than 6 months revenue, and in this biz I know websites almost always sell for 12 months plus.
The banner network I used for income was Yahoo Publisher network, and I can include a account w/ sale as YPN is currently invite only.

can you show proof of profit? So the server is overloaded and another needs to be added still?

No, I have 5 days of revenue now, between 500$ and 810$ per day
The bottom day was before I added this site to the account, the second day was when I added it at 6pm, so it only got 6 hours of time.

Second server was already added when I saw how much it made, site is fine now

 

I dont like judging monthly profit off of 5 days. Id like to see how the stats pan out by the end of the month though. Also, I didnt see any YPN ads when I was at the website. Where are they?

And can you answer my quesiton about the server being overloaded

Well .. this is a good deal but i do not have enough money. Good luck on your sale, but frankly speaking, you wouldnt worry too much if you do not have a buyer

 

You can feel free to wait, But it wont be here. Even if I cant sell it, its not like im really losing out, its alot of money per day.
Of course a longer history would be more beneficial, which is why its not going for 12x monthly revenue.
YPN ads are displayed @ the top of every users page.
The server HD was full and the 10mbs line was getting maxed out.
I purchased a second server and it solved the problem.
Once again, Everyone knows only 5 days of revenue isnt ideal for buying a site, I dont need anyone to reiterate the obvious.

 

Total for yesterday was $405.16 This was due to adding the second server I spoke of, and the site was down for most of the morning

 

I don't understand why you're looking to sell the site if it's bringing in so much revenue and only requires five minutes of maintenance a day. If you can't handle the business aspect why not just pay someone else to do it for you - obviously for less than the profit you're making at the moment.

I wish I had a better excuse that made perfect sense, but in all reality, the idea of selling a website and have that amount of cash really does most of the talking for me. Im just so excited the site is making this much money, it really is a godsend to me.

Hosting expenses vary.
You could get 2 dedicated top of the line servers from EV1 for 500$ each, and that would be able to handle it.
So approx 1k monthly if you went w. ev1

Your kind words are very appreciated. Hopefully I can be paired with a buyer I had no idea when I first got this site it would be capable of so much. I really just thought it would be a fun project, that would maybe cover expenses

 

Let's see some stats (awstats, webalizer?). Looking at the support forum imo it does not look all that busy there... I think you'll have more success by posting stats here and on the auction and info on the users (locations, hosting account info)

There is 2 awstats because I recently switched from a very old version of awstats to the current version.
The traffic on the 18th is wrong because of some problem with the logs. The stats update every 24 hours, I will post the full stats for yesterday when they do.

Revenue was slow yesterday as the site was down for a good portition of the day during the server transfer.
