    Hello! Does anyone know how www.one.com compare in terms of speed to other hosting services?

    I'm looking for a hosting service with fast loading speed.

    Ask them that which softwares they use on their server like apache , cpanel , lite speed , cloud linux.

    these answers can let you solve your issue.

    one.com uses Apache, is that good?
    I kept asking and they said that could be from 6-700kb/s download speed... is that acceptable?

    There is not bandwidth limit, tho I don't know how many customers they have (which might affect the speed of the service).

    Apache is good. Also, almost 90% of the linux hosting companies will use apache.

    What kind of hosting are you looking for? Shared, VPS, Dedicated... More goes into the loading speed then just download numbers. Is the server you are on overloaded. Is another shared account eatting up all the resources, etc...

    Search for hosting that offers like apache+ nginx or based. Nginx is possibly the best thing to accelerate web-server. The same if you have experience can be done on a vps.

    litespeed web server... find web hosting with features that... why? because litespeed 6x faster than apache :)

    That is a very big fluctuation there in speeds there
    Ask them for a speed test file to download it will let you know what their speeds are.
    Like ours here down load it and look while it is downloading to see what the speeds are and then go to other hosts and check there's out this will give you a comparison of download speed
