    Hi there,

I am currently using Godaddy hosting package to host all my sites (I have 5 sites) under the same server and same IP. My main site was hosted under the main hosting root "/" while I have assign different roots to other domain (e.g. "/affiliate" for my affiliate site, "/blog" for my blog).

I am wondering if it is going to cause any problem in terms of SEO. For example, I am able to visit my affiliate site at http://www.myaffiliate.com but at the same time the same content is available thru http://www.mainsite.com/affiliate/index.php.

I heard people saying to host their site thru something called "reseller plan",

    1) is it going to make any difference than what I am doing right now with Godaddy?

    2) Do each of my site has a seperate main hosting root "/" if I spend more money on the "reseller plan"?

    3) And is it worth it (in terms of better search ranking)?

Any help would be appreciate :)

the ultimate seo strategy is to register your domain name for at least 5 years (10 years if you have the d$sh) if it is brand new or renew it for the same if it is an expired one you bought, and to have a unique ip address, this is what you do for that website your "life" depends on (LMAO)! however from what you are describing above, a reseller plan would be best for you and you will have more control and access to more facilities beyond the scope of your original question.
