Hosting overseas is not that much cheap and their support is also not good in most of the cases then why people are so much concerned about overseas web hosting ? Is it only for the people who wants to host their warez site or some thing else ?
Overseas web hosting would be hosting from another country (that is across an ocean)? An American purchasing a British hosting plan for example. If most of your traffic is British, you may want to be hosted in Britain. Offshore hosts usually are in places where piracy laws don't apply and you can host illegal content. I think that's it at least.
They are not just for warez hosting, they can be used for many other things such as using bots, spamming , blackhat , and other unethical things , torrentflux
Not really. It is true that many offshore (overseas) hosting companies are warez host but many of them are just a local hosting provider anyway. Not all of them are established solely to be warez host.
I just searched offshore hosting in google and got some list of providers who allows warez .And i think konrad was right about offshore hosting . @sxperm ya they can be used for illegal activities but my question is different .Is there any way that a business website can be hosted there ?A proper legal business website.
Offshore/Oversea host is nothing more then a host working in another country. 9/10 will not allow you any any copyrighted material/links to copyrighted material, but we do allow thing like nulled scripts to be hosted, because: a) A good host will not give away you personal information, just because someone demands it b) To legally obtain information about a customer from another country it requires too much paperwork and time, so what's the point of going after someone who is using a 100$ software when legal prosecution would cost at least 10 times more. Even this who advertise themselves as warez hosts will gladly give away all your info if you will be involved in bots and spamming. So good luck with such activities.
