Hosting or Internet connection problem?

    Hi,
    I had a reseller hosting to run several sites.
    But these days, sometimes i can't open them even I still can use FTP to upload files... My hosting provider said the issue was caused by the Internet connection but other sites (yahoo, goole, wht,...) can be opened smoothly... so I wonder what is happening...
    Is there any tools/ways to let us know exactly where is the problem once we can't reach a website?

    You can use www.dnsstuff.com to check your site availability and identify problem if any.

    you can also use tracert from ms dos shell to know the point of failure.

    e.g. c:\>tracert mysite.com
