Hi guys, I'm now asking for serious help. I have a huge hosting issue. I have just started a new forum along with my friends. We are all aged 13-16 and money is a big issue. The forum is just 2 days old yet has 2350 posts from our members. This means out bandwidth usuage has been quite high. Daily stats: http://img117.imageshack.us/img117/232/07282006213510nr7.png Direct type-ins: http://img117.imageshack.us/img117/7700/07282006213602su1.png We expect our traffic to increase and we need some way of getting hosting. If anyone can kindly sort out some sort of hosting deal if we give them a link or something back in return please PM me ASAP. Thank you
http://www.hostgator.com/ Enter the coupon code "ICEISHOT" or "MUSICA" or "JURY" and you get professional hosting for a penny. Good luck!
I knew about these anyway because they are posted reguarly on sitepoint lol. Bandwidth on my host has now been exceeded. 1GB is 1 day!
In fact $7.50, free domain, php 5, cgi, python, ruby on rails, 70,000 mb webspace, host unlimited sites and if you use my coupon you get 80,000 mb instead coupon code cust12535 I also took the netfirms plan to take advantage of the free domains but there are some limitation like in the use of .htaccess or sites to be hosted.
hey, i got a better idea... join a ppc program like adsense and the traffic you're seeing should be able to pay for hosting easily...
He`s not 18 About the hosting ... i`m gonna signup with servage.net also probably ... from what I saw they got a good offer. It`s somewhere around 37,5$ for 3 months (setup fee included) or 45$ (no setup fee) for 6 months. If you got those money i would say it`s worth it. I had an exchange of emails yesterday with them and they replied quickly enough to both emails that I sent. They seem to have good customer support.
Ryannnnn - who did you go with finally? What made you decide for your final provider? I am looking for somewhere to start a few simple sites with and currently looking for a good and decent provider and so far I like what I have seen with servage.net. thanks
We went with hostgator using the coupon SitePoint I think it was, either way. The hostgator support we recieved was amazing.
Thanks Ryannn for your post. Just before your post I had decided to go with Servage for a short while. Lets see how it turns out. thanks
