I cant remember if I read this some where or I am just dreaming but does it make any difference how you add all your domains to the server? For example putting them as an add on domain or not?

    Thanks

Depends on your host; check with them. (Or are you hosting on your own server?)

I think he means is there any effects SEO-wise. If they're add-on domains, they will share the same IP as the domain you're adding them to. Nothing wrong with that, unless you heavily interlink between them or build links from the same sources.

Hosting 10 sites on the same IP address, search engines will see you own all the sites and devalue any links between them. I host 20 different sites on 20 different IP address on 3 different C classes, so search engines don't necessarily recognize I own all the sites.

To get the biggest bang for your buck the ideal way to do it is to host all your sites on different class C IP adresses if you are going to link them together.

    Hi

Noticed reply where:" Hosting 10 sites on the same IP address, search engines will see you own all the sites and devalue any links between them"

Question: How much linking between a number of sites is allowed.?

Example: 5 sites of various themes what amount of link devalue on
    same Ip can one expect.

    Is banning possible?

    Thanks..

What's the most cost effective way to do this ?
-Have three different reseller accounts and pay extra for seperate IP's
-Have all sites on their own virtual account

I have many sites that I would like to split up amongst IP's. I want to keep things as simple as possible. I think certain hosta allow different IP's for something like $2 each IP per month.

I personally have a dedicaetd+managed machine so we just purchase IPs through our ISP and then have them added to our machine. Then from there, we can just create our own reseller accounts if we want to host more than one website per IP address (which I normally don't). You could though, go through different reseller accoutns, but you're still likely to get IPs on the same C class (which isn't ideal, but it workS).

Infact its a good thing but always remember that you should not compromise with the content of the domains keep all the content unique and useful.
