Hosting Location Question

    Hi,

    Not sure if this is the right area to post this but i'm sure it will be moved if not.

    I have just started promoting a new site www.malridge.com .

    When i use Digital Points Geo targeting program http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/website-country/?ip=www.malridge.com to check the location of the hosting it says the US.

    However i have spoken to the web designer who arranged the hosting and he assures me that it is hosted in London, UK.

    Is it possible that the Geo targeting program is wrong?

    That is very possible.

    Looks to me like it's hosted with newnet.co.uk somewhere in the uk.

    Thats right, it is.

    How did you tell that? Did you use another program?

    I used traceroute and looked at the hops leading to it.
