Hosting in Mexico or USA?

    Hello,

I am developing a web service aimed at Mexican market. The question is, do I need a Mexican webhost? How fast are the connections between USA and Mexico - would it be ok if I used an US based host (better services, more to choose from)?

Also any concrete recommendations are welcome

    Thank you

PS: I am from central europe and I don't really have a clear picture about the hosting conditions over there, any info much appreciated

If you do your research before beginning business, you will find a better avenue to the successful hosting, and thereby promotion, of your online business. Take your time in making this important decision.

Hosting on US servers is highly preferred. There are well known companies like BlueHost, HostGator and Dreamhost - all registered in United States.

There won't be any problem with latency on Mexico, you can use US hosts, they are cheaper and quality, e.g. Interactiveonline.com is offering reliable services.

Datacenters in California, Arizona, or Texas should all provide excellent speeds to Mexico.
