I'm thinking of changing hosting from godaddy. Any recommendations?
    Thanks.

Go HostGator man! Nothing can beat it when it comes to shared hosting... Talking from experience of using 3-4 other hosts as well and now running HostGator.

I am also having the same problem. I have been hosting morethan 17 blogs in some cheap- not so familiar- indian hosting companies. Now I really want to move to a trusted host with unlimited domain support and unlimited bandwidth.

    Which one would be best....

I highly recommend HostGator as your choice for the switch. I have used them and I have been very satisfied with support, speed and uptime. Just remember to use coupons when signing up to save money. You can get hostgator coupons here:

Don't recommend using a GoDaddy. It's a good registrar, but poor webhoster. Go HostGator (link in signature).

I agree, look beyond godaddy for your web hosting. I've been with hostgator for almost a year and have been very happy.

BlueHost and HostGator are both good based on my uptime monitor. Both of them show 100% uptime at 15 minutes pull.

Another host has exceeded my expectation is hostupon, stay at 100% as well.

hostgator is more restricted than bluehost if you are planning to run cron job or special php application then Bluehost.

HostGator is way better than BlueHost. With BlueHost they have problems with a lot of traffic or CPU usage whereas HostGator is more lenient.

    Godaddy sucks...

I am not a big fan of Hostgator I have had problems with support and I don't like how they charge money to change the domain name on the hosting plain.

    I like Bluehost alot better.

    - How much resources does your site use?
    - How much do you think it would use after 3 months of time?
    - What kind of control panel are you on currently?
    - Why are you thinking of switching the host?
    - What is your site volume?
    - How many people are active at a peak time?
    - Why Have you faked your signature?
