Hosting for oscommerce

Im looking to open up a oscommerce shop, what would be the ideal hosting for this? including ssl certificates and so fourth

 

I think you'll be fine with the mid to high end shared hosting accounts and definitely anything above that for a new store. Obviously you can track your statistics and when the need comes you can upgrade. No sense in getting a dedicated server when you're only getting 50 unique visitors a day right?

 

I think oscommerce comes in fantastico deluxe with hostgator account.

 

osCommerce is included in almost all script installers. So if you find a host offering pre-installed scripts including osCommerce you can be sure their PHP settings are ok to use this script on their server.
