Hello.... We use SEOhosting.com for our directories which is parent company of hostgator.com If you have several directories then it should have several different C class ips so that each site counts as a vote. My adult directories are thru dreamhost.com and paid yearly We are happy with our hosting as we never have downtime... Like anything be sure that you find reliable hosting at fair price that never has down time... thx malcolm
For hosts and domain registrars i never recommend because id hate to recommend something that goes bad later on. But i have my directories hosted at hostgator. Malcolm, why do you host your adult directories at dreamhost? hostgator are fine with adult aint they.
Hi pipes.... Well ive had the same hosting for those directories for over a year and a half and haven't had any problems with them so i left them their is all I rather pay 1 year in advance and make sure that i dont worry about the hosting NO i dont think hostgator has issues with adult... thx malcolm
Hi Malcolm, i see what you mean, no need to move them from where they are, if its cheap and yearly its cool, as you say no need to think about the hosting for a while.
Hi Malcom1 Yes. I am just a reseller for the same company I am hosted with for about four years and offering limited hosting service, mostly to promote my free and managed directory script (installed free with every hosted account)
why do you go for different c classes though? are you interlinking? tbh I think the hosts stir these theories up about c class ips for their own benefit if u are interlinking thats one thing but if u arent I think you are wasting your money and people like seohosting.com are more than willing to take it I would recommend hostgator too for directories only problem I had a couple of time was that the htaccess went to 0bytes for no reason dunno what that was
Nope not interlinking but we want to make sure that each directory is counted for as a vote and would rather pay to make sure that they do then take the chance off them not. Whether its fact or fiction is not known to me but only to the SEs and most SEOs Will Not submit to a directories with the same C class IPs thx malcolm
It is not to be fiction malcolm, it is for to be avoiding multiple directories running from same class C IP. Good checker is this tool http://www.validrank.com/pages/class-c.php Data taken from : http://www.submitedge.com/blog/?p=25 Hoping this is of help.
Well like what was said in previous post... No need to take chances for a few dollars more Yes ive read similar article somewhere else and i see no reason not to heed the warnings thx malcolm
