    Hello,

A year ago I bought a VPS from a hosting company it costed me 400$/Year and I made a subscription payment via Paypal hosting company went off in 2 months and my VPS too I dint got that 400$ that time which was supposed to be refunded according to terms but I left them going. Now 10 days back again I was charged 400$ and they gone from my account as I was subscribed to it. I made a dispute in paypal that idiot scammer dint replied so I claimed dispute to Paypal and I think he sent them that it was digital product and now paypal shows me " Waiting for your response " and the only option I get is cancel the dispute nothing else.

So what should I do now?

I dont want to loss 400$ to that scammer, rather I would like to donate it to some trust then going to a scammer.

    I HATE THOSE SCAMMMERS!!

The best option is resolve this with the help of PayPal staff. Never make subscription payments to the hosting companies also when you choose big hosting plans such as VPN please select a reputed hosting company.

Call your credit card company or bank, tell them to put a stop on it. As simple as that. Tell them you did not authorize the payment.:) You will get your money back.

Why don't you call them and let them know of this issue in brief. That is the only way to tackle this problem IMO.

    DON.

Here are the bad news: it is not a bug, the expiration time for your quarrel has come and gone and there is nothing else for you to do but cancel your request. :-( That money was released to the scammer who, probably bought tennis shoes to his million children (or think something just like that so ease the pain you are going through). I went through a similar ordeal; I filed a claim and for the longest time all it said was "waiting for your response"...

finally, one day changed to "waiting for the other side to responde" and when I noticed, it was back to "waiting for your response" after taht it was cancelled because it timedout. I called paypal and in laymen's terms, they told me that I just got stuffed!

the worst news? you can write your fingers off because they simply have no logistics on that matter.

the ray of hope? If you can find other people that have the same conflict with the scammer, presenting a new complaint to paypal will reopen YOUR case and will allow you to ask for your money back.

Nonetheless, I would call or write them, get them to check YOUR personal case. Best of luck! lemme know how it turned out! I am so sorry you lost so much, in my case, at least it was only 34 bucks.
