Where do you host Digital Point Shawn? We are currently with HiVelocity aka HIV. They are ok as long as their are no issues. As soon as there is an issue, they blame you. They don't look into the issue. They just simply blame you. We have lost $1000's of dollars due to their incompetence.

However, we cannot find anyone else out there that is any better. WTF

We are looking for a Dedicated
    Dual Xeon processors 3.0 Ghz
    2 Gigs of DDR
    Raid 5 Scuzi (3 x 36 or 73GB 15KRPM Drives)
    MSSQL (Enterprise)
    100Mbps Network
A hosting company that is not congested on its network and doesn't max its equipment out.
Fully Managed, 24/7/365 Tech Support, RDM Access, Windows 2003 Standard Edition
A hosting company that when corporate calls or I call and mention that there is an issue with the server, they don't say... well I don't see anything here. It must be your problem by you. ahhhhhhh if I hadn't fully checked into the issue to begin with, I would haven't called in the first place.
A hosting company that will not rape you on the price for what we want. I have found them all the way up to $1500 per month... no way...
We are currently paying under $500 per month for the above configuration and the managed services. I am just not happy with the tech support when there is a networking issue.

Is this out there? Can there be 1 company that actually does what it claims it can do without arguements?

Here's some that I use and recommend:

enterhost.com (I keep one of my most importants sites there)
crystaltech.com (respond to problems and will make temporary fixes and follow up with permanent fixes)
hostasaurus.com (small outfit but I was very impressed with their knowledge of hardware, e-commerce, and listserves)

    Hope that helps.

I am using servstra.com for my servers. I can say I tried quite a few of the others and found their service to lack by far. Also they offer basically fully managed servers for the price of a self-managed. I know when I have had any support issues they have responded within 30 mins or less everytime and never blame us for any issues. They just help and fix the problem and are always polite. Plus their support is 24/7. I cannot say enough good about them and the quality of their machines. They also offer a full security package that is awesome for a one time fee.

Good luck on your search. I have also heard about these same problems with HIV.

servstra.com doesn't offer Windows hosting. They do sound awesome though.

enterhost.com doesn't offer nor do they want anything to do with managed servers.

crystaltech, around the same price we are paying (A little more)... sounds like a dream.

I called their tech support and they picked up within 5 seconds. I drilled their tech support on questions for about 40 minutes. He was polite. He knew everything about the network I asked. the only thing that he didn't know was how fast the Scuzi drives were running at, 10KRPM or 15K RPM however, it was about .3 seconds and he had the answers. It was fantastic.

They do charge to transfer everything over but I think we will be going with them. Their sales staff however, was out for the day.

    Thank You much.
