As you can. The more customers you get, the more income. Selling hosting is like any other business...you got to promote and get visitors and offer those visitors a solid reason to buy from you.
I would not have it if it did not make me money. In fact started another host company at http://www.yourhosthere.com
how much you can do depends on many factors.....Do you know anything about hosting? If not, I wouldnt recommend it
YOu must know about hosting, but more importantly, how to deal with customers who will call you names, send rude and crude emails to you. It is almost an art to mollify a customer whose site went down. Or heavens forbid, their account is shut down for hacking, spamming, etc.
The critical thing in hosting business is good and prompt support. Starting a hosting business is quiet easy but keeping your customers happy and satisfied is another thing. If you can offer good support, you can succeed in this business
How much what? Can you be a bit more specific? I've been doing it for almost 9 years now. If you're looking to get rich quick, I'd try something else
It takes a lot to properly run a hosting company. Then again, if you look at the posts over at WHT everyone is always looking for free or the cheapest things around. I never really understood that myself - I always like to pay for something, that way I feel I am getting my money's worth
anyone can tell me if I can make money with a paid forum posting service ? do you think I can make about 500-600$/month with hosting and forum posting service ? thanks
Right now, start a hosting company. Then 2 or 3 days later, start a paid forum. In no time, you will be making big bucks! Now, pay attention.....been said before... ANY INCOME YOU MAKE IS DEPENDENT ON YOUR MARKETING EFFORTS! Why do you think every company, from Microsoft to GM, advertise? You can not put up a business online or offline, not advertise, not get customers and expect to make money.
Here is an easy way to figure out how many customer you will need at your hosting business to make $500 a month. Say your price is $5.00 per month per hosting account. That means you would need 100 customers to make $500 a month. You gotta have a business plan, you gotta know how to build that business plan, you gotta know how much, how many customers, etc to earn what you want. Every business that is there, online and offline, either knows what each customer is worth, or should know this. Plus each knows how many customers spending xxx amount of money will be needed to make xxx amount of profit in a given time period. Business 101....College
