Domains:
I have 2 registrars from which I resell domain names.
1) Directi – well over $1000 dollars worth of domain sales (our main reseller with .com/.net at $6.49/y and .info/.org at $1.49/y… all these domains are being sold at $9.99/y from the – so nice profits made)
2) Enom – well over $300 dollars worth of sales
Domains are registered automatically through the AWBS admin panel on the hosting site through API called and customers receive the appropriate emails - very handy!
There is about $10 dollars of registration money in both these accounts which comes with the sale as bonus!

Hosting server:
All client accounts are hosted at a dedicated server at servermatrix.com
I pay $134 for hosting and it includes cPanel and WHM (web host manager) There are cheaper hosting options out there, but I opted for my own server to be able to offer the best service possible.

Hosting: anywhere between 300-1000 per month - this is a combination new orders and renewals.
Domains: 5-20 domains per month - earnings vary quite a bit depending on the extension registered. I make about 30% commission on average for every domain. Can include the full reseller details via PM - please request this specifically if you need it.
Advertising: through text-link-ads (approx $9 / month

Top month was about $1000 profit but you can expect $500 net profit monthly....it varies a lot depending on traffic and if you are using advertising like adwords which I sometimes run when I need to increase earnings. But more traffic = more sales = more work! It is up to you how much you can dedicate to the business. If advertising costs are limitless and an aggressive campaign is undertaken, profits can easily exceed $2000 monthly but you will need dedicated staff to run the site.

Website workload:
The site does need constant attention as orders need to be approved and questions need to be answered via helpdesk/forum/email/chat desk.
Minimum maintenance: 30 minutes per day would be sufficient to maintain the site if NO advertising is undertaken to increase traffic and sales. You could expect earnings between $200-$500 dollars per month in return for this workload 30min daily workload.
Development: If you are prepared to place a dedicated person on the site to run it at full advertising power, then 2-4 hours daily would be required. You can expect $1000+ net profit in this case scenario.

Payment processors:
The site currently uses paypal or 2CO but you can use just about any payment processor through the AWBS system at the click of a button!!

SEO/traffic:
Coop weight: anywhere between 3000-10,000 depending on google serps.
I get a lot of traffic from forum posts. Yahoo is currently the best search engine with google second and MSN third but it depends on the month.

I received pm's asking about the income. I am therefore updating the listing for the benefit of all interested parties:

I looks like that most people signed up for a years hosting which means that the income without new customers will be quite low until it is time for them to renew

A. Advertising and promoting are mainly through google adwords. I sometimes buy vouchers here on DP and use them to promote the site and get new customers in.

The customers vary from annual to monthly to quarterly, so the income is steady as long as they renew of course. What supplements the income in a big way are the domain sales for some extensions you get them at $1.29 and you sell them at $9.99 Also the 'free' accounts are not completely free, they still have to pay $5 for setup fee.
