DNS changes used to take up to 72 hours to propagate throughout the Internet, but nowadays some registrars guarantee immediate changes.

I have seen shorter propagation time updating INFOs and longest with ORG/NET domains, not to mention the CO.UK/ORG.UK when Nominet is down.

Remember that besides changing DNS your domain should exist on the server's configuration file you are now pointing it to.

Well you say your site was hosted on "Webshosting Company" but it was down for many day.

When you change your DNS there are two possible scenarios:

You changed nameservers to refresh the settings with the hope to get your site back.

This is not properly change but update your DNS settings with something like "NS1.WEBHOSTING COMPANY, NS2.WEBHOSTING COMPANY"

Otherwise you changed the nameservers pointing to a different DNS

    Let's say "NS1.OTHER COMPANY, NS2.OTHER COMPANY"

In this case your domain must exist in "Other Company" server's configuration file or it will not work.

However if your page is parked on GoDaddy, it's more likely an error choosing the appropriate nameservers as this registrar has a large number of settings.

    Parking must be

    NS37.DOMAINCONTROL.COM,
    NS38.DOMAINCONTROL.COM

    Otherwise try
    NS51.DOMAINCONTROL.COM,
    NS52.DOMAINCONTROL.COM

    or

    NS43.DOMAINCONTROL.COM
    NS44.DOMAINCONTROL.COM
