Hosting and Making Torrent Site

I want to make a torrent site. The site will be containing no adult things or movies. It will only have things related to computer softwares and tutorials. I am currently being hosted with IPage and they said they will allow torrents without adult contents.

I need to know how to make it and where is the best place to host it, don't mind spending a little.

Which area servers can't be sued for hosting this type of content and easy way to build torrent site ?

 

don't know much about torrent . its a game of seeds and leaches . to host your own torrent website either you need vps with unlimited space and bandwidth or need to buy dedicated server . overall cost per month would be around $45 To $ 80 per/month

Is there any thing i can use to make it, lke xenfor for forums ?

 

Host it in a country the usa won't touch because their real sticklers about that kind of stuff.

Good question thats probably the one script I havent seen out their for sale, maybe get a custom coder or modify an existing script. A torrent script/template dosen't actually seem like it would be that hard for someone to make.

Most up-to-date clients can make torrents (only a minority may not be able to). For a free client that can create torrents try µTorrent for Windows and Mac, Transmission for Mac, Deluge for Linux or JSTorrent for Chrome OS. (Note: JSTorrent cannot make torrents. It is just a torrent client for Chromebooks.)

I don't trust torrents.
There might be a 40% or even 50% chance the torrent may be a virus, even if it is some OS torrent, it might really be a virus exe! It might be named (install.exe) or (setup.exe), and might look like a real installer. It might even be the only file in the torrent!

 

Your question makes it clear that your site might actually be planning to host illegal content before you even start. It really sounds like you are not asking if you have illegal content by mistake, but rather sounds like you are saying you plan to have alot of illegal content.

In this case, dont just look at where the servers are hosted, be sure to carefully choose your domain name. Other sites deemed to be pointing to illegal content (not hosting the content) have had their domain names confiscated by the US, as the company that owned them was US based, or had some US presence
example: the .tv tld is for the islands of Tuvalu. The domain however is currently operated by dotTV, a Verisign company; the Tuvalu government owns twenty percent of the company. Verisign are US based...

the next thing is, be careful where you live. If you live in for example, New Zealand or the UK (I choose these as there are famous examples of site owners from these countries getting into big trouble over illegal content but there is dozens of other countries that will export you to the US if you breach copyright law), you could very well end up being extradited to the US. Countries that dont have this relationship with the US now, might very well change their position with the US in the future.

 

I am from malaysia. Illegal contents means softwares and other computer things which are being selled. It is like forum.cgpersia.com.

Members willl be uploading it and staffs will remove it if there is any copyright stirke.

You will get a lot of DMCA reports, you will need a offshore provider and a offshore domain registrar that allows torrent sites.
