Hosting Affiliates always disappoint

Why?
Users DO NOT buy the first time they click, and when they return to buy, it will not be through your link

Only if you have friends or relatives teaming up then yes it will work

That is the cold truth

I run 4 sites with 2 of them (~6000 visitors a day) running hosting affiliates, it's been 6 months and ZERO purchase although HUNDREDS of clicks

SO WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS ONLY MAKING THEM MORE POPULAR

 

wow.. 6000 visitors a day? better use that for adsense or CPA?

 

I have users that buy with the first click...

yea that's what i'm running now
but before, $65 per referral looked so good so i was hooked

 

If you want, you should use blackhat method called ****** *****. You'll get sales no matter what the users do. However, the risk is getting banned.

 

We give credit to the affiliate if the customer comes back anytime in a year and buys, and i know others do that as well. Sounds to me like the hosting company isnt making the sale after the client visits!

 

lol i had this "interactive" banners on my site...65$ per sale..... never got any $ from them exept promoting them ... and i have good traffic

 

Better teamed yourself in inviting your friends first that way they will use your site when they will invite your friend's friends. Hows that? You know its a perfect training for your too to basic marketing

 

I've had similar experiences with hosting programs...

I've tried most of the popular niches: dating, weight loss, RX, hosting, etc. I've found the most success in the financial niche. In particular, I've been doing extremely well with payday loans (see my sig). It's very competitive like any popular niche, but it's in high demand and payouts are great...

 

I did not sell a product within 6 months. May be we just do not know how to promote it.

 

your sites niche is webhosting or something related to webmasters ?
and your traffic from which countries are ?

you must do something wrong, with so big traffic as you claim you should have many sales

 

For one month nothing ... I start to doubt ... Let someone share how earning a monthly basis.

 

Sometimes it takes a while. I know we put tracking cookies for a full year, so if someone visits and comes back months later our affiliates still will get the sale. It comes down to are people clicking the link to go to the hosting company, and in sufficient numbers to make sales!

 

Maybe offer your own incentive to make sure the people come back to your link before purchasing
