    Hi again,

I found a cheap web host as per my needs. It offers me 1600 Rs / year hosting service.

My quick questions can you please guide me about how I can use this hosting service.
As per my understanding the webhost offers me with two options I want to

    1) transfer my domain to (hosting provider)
    2) I will update my nameservers on an existing domain Or I will register a new domain.

If I select the first option it asks me for some EPP code.
If I select the second option it really take me nowhere except the checkout page.

M not familiar about what exactly the two options means.. Can someone throw some light on this

You don't need to transfer domain to your hosting provider. Just update dns to provided values, then you can use your domain on their server.

Your host should provide you with your account information.

In that email there should be the nameserver info ns1.somedomain.com.

Just go to your GD account, select the domain and use the custom nameserver tab. Enter that information and wait. It can take up to 48 hours for the change to take effect.

My advice is never transfer your domain to your hosting account. Always keep them seperate.

Don't transfer it to your new host, chose the second option where you just update your name servers. That will keep your domain registered at godaddy.

Good advice to keep your domain registered at GoDaddy.

I don't even accept my host's offer of free domain name registration since they only renew the registration one year at a time.

Keeping hosts and domain separate is WAY better. You'll have full control if you need to do a quick migration.

Go for option 2 and then, on your GD account point the domain to your host's nameservers.
