    Well, if you had followed the link you would have seen that it's the ioncube php accelerator. In all likelihood this is what it is as the Zend Optimizer is the other pre-installed feature. It would make sense to mention both accelerators/optimizers side by side. You're right the standard ioncube is a file encoder/decoder.

    Hostgator - Good servers. OK support, but takes too long to respond.

    Hostnine - No Idea - Never Used.

    Resellerzoom - Not able to handle high traffic sites and lots of database errors/disconnects - cheap, so good for simple sites that don't really get much traffic.
