HostGator VPS coupon site - Easy on the eyes?

Greetings,

About 5 days ago the coupon site http://hostgatorvpscoupon.com/ got a new design. I made the design in GIMP and then sliced it into valid HTML/CSS. Also decided I will convert the code to HTML5.

My goal was to make a design that is simple and easy on the eyes, yet pleasing to look at.

Looks good although the first thing I noticed was how bright the background is.

 

I think it looks nice but my opinion is this. I think the site looks nice you have (2) images-The bottom image looks clean-crisp top one cartoonish and takes away from the site. Just my opinion. You have a corp look to the site then you see the gator and like ok cool but then you see the next image that matches your site because it is a crisp picture etc. Just my opinion.

 

Its really a page not a site but it is friendly and easy on the eye. winning!

These other pages can be unnoticed at first, as they are simply linked from within the main content. Soon I will add a section where all of them are listed.

 

This site should rank well... I would thing it should bring in some good traffic. One word... SEO Rank well and it will survive!!!

 

Do you plan on adding a logo or just keeping it basic? If you added a logo and maybe a good slogan would help keep visitors on site long because you would look professional and not bloggy.

You should consider adding keywords.
Meta keywords are words or phrases that pertain to your site's content. In the past, people have tried to take advantage of this tag so now it doesn't affect your search rankings the way that it used to.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. A couple days ago did some minor changes, so that the coupons are more visible and 'accessible' to the visitor.

What;s in it for you ... cause I did not see any affiliate links on it? How are you making money with this site?
