Hostgator - The No.1 Hosting Company?

My site is on a dedicated server at Hostgator and I'm pretty happy with their service. Still a bit pricey tho in my mind - I'm sure I could get the same spec'd server cheaper...

 

I have the Baby Croc account and I hosted around 30 websites at the minute and I haven't had a single problem with them and I've been with them for around 6 months.

I assure you, you won't be dissapointed

 

Hostgator are just as bad as Servage.

Even though they blocked my account just after 10 minutes as they wanted to verify my details it wasn't much of a hassle after I send them my ID proof and they enabled my account within half hour.

 

Hostgator is best I tried

 

Hostmonster is bad dont get them.. they'll be facing a lawsuit soon .. they say no hacking or warez and yet i see warez and hacking sites... hosted by them..

 

Heartinternet (in the UK) offer some competitve packages.

 

So, verdict: Hostgator wins with majority votes...

I've used HostGator for the last 3 years and I have not found any other hosting company that has the same bang for the buck. I have tried 4 other companies and I always seems to run into the same problem with them to many restrictions and not very rely able support service. A++ I recommend

 

Host gator is the most over rated web host I have ever seen, they are popular because they are popular, it is self sustaining There are much better options out there.

1and1 is the world's largest hosting company, and the best hosting company as i know of

I have account with 1and1, and i love it

1and1's control panel is so easy to use and graphical
1and1 also gives you so many tools to help your website rank high in SE
example, simple Search engine, James Martell's NOn-technical Affiliate handbook for free, free static software, click and built, blog, and tons of more free features
if you want to sign up with 1and1 make sure you choose the linux hosting, it's better

really good company. Brent goes out of his way to help his customers. His staff is really great with everything they do over there. i recommend them for sure.

My experience with Hostgator was horrible so iwould stay away from them.

1and1 was even worse so don't even consider them

 

Is GatorHost and HostGator diff companies, or one company but some of you mix up the names?

From my personal point of view, bluehost, hostgator and lunarpages have my votes.

 

Hostgator refunded me when i payed them for some odd reason. I also did not like their customer support so i switched. To be honest its not the 'best', its just highly reputable...
