Yo DP! I am trying to find a good host and looking at VPS options. I hear godaddy, networksolutions, and some others are sub-par because they do not provide a fully manageable c-panel. Any hosting wizes that have some good suggestions on a host? Right now, it seems hostgator seems to be the most viable. PS. I have a lot of traffic...so don't recommend any shared-hosting plans. Our company site would break them!
If you are looking for VPS or Dedicated Server to suit you then there are plenty options. A well known for a good is Rackspace, Inmotion, Hostgator.
No Godaddy, they are notorious for problems. Hostgator is good with great support... which is important if things start going side ways.
I assume that you need to widen your search in order to get a clear picture of the companies that can meet your needs.
If you are ready to pay for the quality then I do not see the reason why you could not to choose Hostgator. Once I tried other host that was in reason for saving money ... but still if I would have money to spend on mentioned company I would definitely do it! Best luck with your choice!
Hmmmn! VPS is Virtual Private Server. VPN is Virtual Private Network. They are two very different things. As far as I know Bluehost only offers shared web hosting. And from my own experience it was a low quality host with many problems. I wouldn't recommend them.
I meant VPS not VPN....even though I did it TWICE!! Bluehost does indeed only offer shared.....which is what I said in my post. As for quality, for a shared host, I have never found one better than Bluehost. Easily the best customer service and support.
