Hostgator suspend my site due to high load on the server!??

    Hostgator is one of the companies that do not care about their customers, They host millions of websites for cheap and they actually cannot afford to give proper support or any technical support. They are now hosting so many websites that they cannot handle so if you are really in to business you eventually need to buy at least VPS or newer better company.

    you r right, the same thing happened to me..so I moved to a US based hosting provider..in last 3 yrs they suspended my account 3 times due to high server load..but when asked them to provide me details they just reactivated my account saying to upgrade php scripts etc...

    Why did you choose to go with HostGator to begin with? They limit websites to 256MB of Memory & only 20 Concurrent Connections; pretty easy to reach those caps and get your website(s) suspended especially if you are using Wordpress.

    What type of website are you running, and how much traffic do you see on a daily basis? There are a lot of companies out there that can offer you a much better solution.
