What the hell.. hostgator suddenly suspended my website due to high load on the server!!?? So what should I do now? I have replied the IP Address for them already so anyone's having the same problem with me? how much time do I need to wait?
if you have too much traffic you may get suspended from other hosts as well what to do is simple anyone having REAL traffic goes dedicated server = means more responsibility but also means MUCH better overall quality for your site visitors AND better page speed possible for G ! I had some 4 years ago same situation moving to dedicated server ( in EU instead of US based host ) brought me an instant 30% traffic increase I am happy to have been pushed into my luck - now I run my site on 4 servers an excellent dedicated root server high end with unlimited traffic may be as low as some60-70 us$/m "peanuts" compared to what you can AdSense earn with real traffic
If your site is affecting other accounts on your shared hosting server, then they are just doing what's right by suspending it.
What is your site url.., just to check whether they are suspended for high traffic or due to some other reasons, Because there may be the chance to suspend if we upload the big size videos..., just let me know your url once...!
There are many reasons why your website could be suspended. Please ask HG to give you a reason. - Prilep
thats what you get from shared hosting - all unlimited ... until you get too unlimited for 1000's hosting accounts they have per one box
hostgator is the worst for CPU resource suspensions, find another host. Im amazed by the amount of people asking for the URL of your site - considering your site is suspended, and your having load issues - why would you want extra traffic? Good luck finding another host
The suspension of an account due to an increased load on a given hardware machine is something that can occur for a plethora of reasons (e.g. not merely due to the high usage of the account in question). Such a decision is primarily based on (or around) the following factors: Account Classification (e.g. shared, semi-dedicated, virtualized, dedicated, etc.) Primary usage of the account (e.g. what is the client using the purchased service for?) Comparison of current account load in comparison to previous months. Average impact that the account in question is having on the 'host machine' and therefore, the neighboring accounts. Consistent communication with the provider is crucial. Maintaining a balanced (and neutral) relationship with the other involved party is only going to assist in the resolution of the issue at hand, which is why it is rather important to remain level-headed and 'cool' (attitude and behavior-wise) when experiencing these situations first-hand. The suspension of an account due to a sudden (or not-so-sudden) increase in server load is not something that is new to the web hosting industry. While said suspension is an inconvenience, many responsible providers will simply offer an alternative environment (within their network) that will be able to handle your load more effectively. While this will depend greatly on the exact situation, the suggested upgrade will more than likely be a move to a semi-dedicated or dedicated environment (a virtual or physical hardware solution). Best of luck.
I think you need to ask them to provide you some statistics. That should help you understand this issue better
If your on shared hosting and your causing high load then your account will get suspended. If you are causing high load i would say best thing to do is move up to a vps or a dedicated server
Your website must be dragging a ton load of traffic. I have hosted many high end traffic websites with HG and have never had a complaint about traffic excess. Moving beyond the suspension, I would recommend that whichever service you look to buy from, get a written commitment that they wont take your site down for high traffic volume.
Here is the problem! I apologize, but I was forced to suspend the script "" as it was causing a high load on the server, and due to the nature of the problem, I forced to take immediate action for the health of the server. This appears to be a WordPress site, and we generally recommend installation WP-Super-Cache, however, from the .htaccess rules that are in place, this already appears to have been installed. Can you check to make sure that it is fully enabled, or if there are any adjustments that you can make, such as increasing the amount of time that the cache is good for? If there are not, are there any unnecessary plugins that you can disable to lower the load that this installation causes? We recommend the following plug-ins which can help to see what queries may be causing an issue, and then cache them, providing some further assistance in bringing down the load that your installation is causing: What can i do?? I so have Wp super cache enable! but they still suspended me the 2nd time!!!
I run over 5 blog on my shared account (some website with nice traffic and one aggregator) it works well for only 6.99$ at month, I paid something like 1,4$ at month for website. I can only suggest you to change hosting company and search for something that guarantee more performance.
Quite stange for Hostgator to suspend a wordpress blog just due to traffic.. Improperly configured supercache also can cause problems.. try DBcache- it's little better i use it on my blog !!
the funny thing with shared hosting is that they always hold you by the balls. you never know when they chose to decide you use to many resources
