Hostgator sucks:> Urgent spam me offers of webhosting for image hosting

Hostgator just disabled my image hosting script due to server load but I was not even using 10% of bandwidth they provided me.

Now my image hosting site is not working & I am loosing my business.

So give me some good offers where server load should not be a problem. Only serious hosting plans. No bull shit promises plz. Can't handle this problem again.

I am not worried about with uptime or bandwidth. That all was good in hostgator but damn people disabled my script due to server load....
So I need best options....

 

It's not your bandwidth that's the problem. It's the serving of your images. They're probably crashing the server, or coming close. You need to check the server status in CPanel, and you'll probably see it redlining.

The other thing is are you paying for dedicated server? If you're not, then your sharing that server with tons of other websites, and it's either dump you or everyone else on that server.

 

Its all CPU usage, Hostgator allows only 25% CPU usage per account. I believe this is the cause. If you are interested I can offer space in my dedicated server with Hostgator, since hostgator allows image hosting in dedicated server.

 

Well I am on shared server. I got a abuse report mail from hostgator that they are disabling my script because of high server load.

Plz assist me in choosing me right plan guys....

tell me about how to know what cpu usage I am using.
& also give me more details about your dedicated plan ?
I might be interested...

Intex it is not a dedicated plan it is to share with his dedicated server. I can tell you that HostGator has been known to terminate due to high cpu usage so because now who you chose cause I gave you something nice and stable.

 

Intex, we offer a semi-dedicated plan which limits the amount
of users on a server. Sounds like that would probably be the best
option unless you want to go dedicated.

well.. script is always sensitive in shared hosting. not only the bandwidth is the only concern. hostgator allow max 25% cpu usage for 90 sec. if this is exceeded, you account will temporary suspended.

other hosting like bluehost allow up to 20% cpu. and some hoster only allow up to 6%.

bottom line is that, image script including coppermine, is recommended to be run from vps, or semi dedicated plan from hostgator.

 

Well, I don't know which hosting company to recommend, but I recommend getting either a VPS or a cheap dedicated server.
