Which company should I get a .net domain from? HostGator, SiteGround, or BlueHost?

These are web hosting companies, I would suggest buying your domains separate from your hosting company.

None of them. Registration of domains with hosts always give problems. I'd suggest you to use Dynadot.Com for domain registration and one of the 3 sites for hosting (or InfinitumHost if a package qualifies for you, we offer the same and are cheaper actually :)).

Good luck further on the webmaster road! :D

To get a domain I recommend Godaddy, for hosting Bluehost or Hostgator.

For domain registration, I think Godaddy and Namecheap would be the good choice.

Whatever you decide to do, avoid siteground.
    Anything but them.
